Daylight Savings ...

the atomic clock in the living room had reverted BACK to old Indiana time

not sure how to set it for the NEW Indiana ( DAYLIGHT SAVINGS time)
it's getting dark - 8:40
so maybe it DOES save time ..
i would prefer the light in the morning ...
it's HARD enuff to get sleep before i fly ..
it will be harder IF it's light out .. :(

am i packed & ready to go ... Of Course NOT!!!!!
gonna go felt the purse ..
bought needles today so i can make the daffodils

OR i could work on the BORING pockets for the Knitting Bag ..

gotta find stuff to knit ...
it's a 3 day = 2 nights in hotel rooms ..
gonna be in Myrtle Beach tomoro nite ..
leave thur around 1PM - MY luck it will be cold AGAIN!!!
then it's off to the home of Dannon Yogurt ... White Plains New York
home Fri around 4 PM ...

Accomplishments for today

started the 4th skein of NoBo
about 1/2 way thru the flap ..
will finish it tonite ..
HHMMM .. do i knit an eyeglass case / coin purse to match OR felt it ...
SUCH a quandry .. :p

got the clock ( receives radio signal to keep correct time) switched to EST
since Indiana NOW changes

forget how many OTHER clocks need to be changed ..

changed the time zone configuration on the blog and a few other websites ..

stayed indoors ALL day, in my jammies

need food, since i missed breakfast & lunch ..
i had better go get dinner ..
not sure why, but don't have much of an appetite lately ..

GREAT PATTERN & FABULOUS bag .. way to go CAM
after reading the pattern, i mite borrow the idea for a purse down the road ..

got one on needles .. it hurts my hands ... is it possible to Knit TTOOOOO much ??

actually, the yarn isn't smoothly gliding ..
AND the chunks of stuff hanging off the yarn, are a pain, i WANT them all to
be on the RIGHT side of the knitting, so it is slowing me down to
manipulate them ..
Joel, my FO said i should make a sweater out of the yarn ... NOT!!!

i was watching Dragon Slayer ( OLD MOVIE- - 1981) & fell asleep
actually started it 3 times .. kept falling asleep ..

there were Tornados spotted a few miles south of me ..

Early Sunrise

so, i wake up and open my eyes ... it's barely 6 AM .. the sun has made the sky appear to be lightening up .. it's GREAT .. hate waking & driving to work in the dark ..

BUT, for the first time since moving to Indiana in 1969 .. it has been determined that Indiana will catch up with the rest of the country & observ Day Light Savings time ..

So, Sat when i drive to work, the sun will be coming up .. Wed, when i drive to work, it will still be DARK ..

i will be in Detroit when the time changes ..

but, it means, that it will be NOT as dark on the later flights ...
a good compromise ...

gotta do laundry .. WANNA knit ..
need to finish the Knitting Bag so i can start SOMETHING new..
got a few ideas

STILL want to make the Daffodils ...
gotta find the Tulip & Felted Vase Patterns ...
then i gotta go BACK to Joannes get the yarn

Nikki NEEDS a new purse .. she wanst one that is Pink & Fuzzy .. gotta find yarn ...

the picture of Indiana will be on the front as a pocket

working on the pockets that will go INSIDE on the side of the bag .. then ..

i will knit ( BORING) the inside Back pocket ...

thinkin' ( yeah i KNOW, bad idea ) that i will i-cord the sides ( make it pretty)

not sure of the straps yet ...

ANYWAYS ... the entire thing will be felted ....

gonna measure to see what guage is & try to determine shrinkage ..

do the knitting bag 40 st wide & 60 rows high

so, after the graph was knit, i decided to try an applied i - cord ....
