Attaching Tier 4

This tier didn't have enough links, so I supplemented some yellow at the ends 

RATZ! didn't put it on correctly,  have to take it off & reposition ... tomorrow!

NEW CONFIGURATION

On tue, I will cut some pieces, fold them & add to the chain.  THEN, I will start sewing the bottom together.
I put 4 links in each side instead of 2, to widen the purse a bit.

using Dorina Dragon, knitting pattern, MOSTLY, for the body, horn, claws & spikes
will use Lugnut, knitting pattern,  for head w/ mouth and wings

Found 7 skeins of Big Lot GALA in a camo color
using Deborah Norville Serenity Chunky in Red Ochre for horns, mouth, wings and claws
using Deborah Norville Serenity Chunky in  Golden, an ombre, for the spine
using I LOVE THIS CHUNKY, in Crocus for ears & belly

48 links per ring means at least 6 rings
YEAH, I will need to buy more yellow, but I like the stripey effect & slightly larger TOTE style

May get a JoAnns tote for the lining

Last purse

Took 14 ~ 120" tape measure
18 points at top = 36 links per ring
Think it had 6 rings
2 tapes PLUS 2 more links per ring
Need 3 or 4 more tapes for flat bottomed purse
So far, I have 6 tape measures

Step 5

CRAP!!!
Rings NEED an even number of links & notches, have 17 notches, need 2 more links, OR 6 or 10 to make the purse symmetrical at the top

Make another ring from 3 more measuring tapes. I THINK I need 6 rings for the purse AND a few chains for the bottom

SO GUESSING, I will need 10 more tapes
Will have to see IF I can locate some, could always use other colors for each ring

Join chain into a ring -> 2 measuring tapes = ALMOST 10" across

Fold links in quarters, use binder clip to keep ends in place
