It calls for 2 skeins of Fino by Alpaca w/ a Twist.
Fino is 70/30alpaca/silk. 100g skein = 875 yards.
One website I've looked up Finocalls it a fingering weight.
Others call it a lace weight.
(Given the yards per gram, the lace weight is correct)
The pattern also calls for a US size 2 and 3 circular needle that can
hold 300 stitches.
It also calls for a cable needle.
Gauge measured after blocking is
24 st and 40 rows = 4 inches in the 4row background pattern.
It also recommends stitch markers and a row counter.
