it's raining ... gonna knit

it started to rain as i pulled into the drive
about 5 1/2 hours ago
it is STILL raining
it sounds pretty bad out there
i guess it COULD be the snow that was falling
when we left Chicago
or the ice that part of the country got
gonna make tea & knit
HHMMMMM
do i work on the Bjork
now that i have the proper sized needles
do i work on the pink sox
do i frog the scarf & use the yarn for
a shawl
i WANT a shawl so i can keep the heat down this winter
1200 yards of 50% alpaca/ 50% wool should make a decent shawl
but what pattern to use
like the one on this list
SHOULD have enuff to make the shawl
thought i had another shawl pattern or 3 i wanted to make
OTHER than the Dragon shawl that will require LACE weight yarn
OTOH
a triangle shawl would be practical
there are patterns to start at the point
there are patterns to start at the top
WHICH to choose
OR
i could make a ruana
similar to
or for an outdoor wrap
i have 6 skeins of Bulky Brown Sheep in one color
i have about 5 or 6 in several colors
i could make SEVERAL
wear them instead of coats this winter
