NEW project

started today

keep having t0 let my hands rest

using METAL # 2 DPs & Darice Hemp Twine
(excellent for beading & crafting according to the label)
the pattern is

i like the pattern
HOWEVER
the small needles & non-giving hemp are giving my hands FITS!!!!
i have been told
that as it's used & washed .. it softenes

it had BETTER!!!!
OTOH
it would make an interesting doily
